The Honorable Selena E. Molina has served as a Magistrate Judge (originally called a “Master in Chancery”) for the Delaware Court of Chancery since 2019. She was originally appointed by former Chancellor Bouchard and was promoted by Chancellor McCormick to Senior Magistrate Judge in January 2025.
Magistrate Molina received her J.D. magna cum laude from the Delaware Law School, where she served on the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law and as a Wolcott Fellow to the Honorable Randy J. Holland on the Delaware Supreme Court. Immediately after graduation, Magistrate Molina clerked for the Honorable William C. Carpenter, Jr. on the Delaware Superior Court, after which she went on to practice corporate and commercial litigation with Richards, Layton & Finger and then Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr.
Magistrate Molina has been teaching various levels of legal writing since 2022 and also teaches as an adjunct at the University of Delaware, Biden School of Public Policy & Administration. Magistrate Molina is a leader within the American Bar Association’s Commission on Law & Aging and the National College of Probate Judges, and serves on the Delaware Guardianship Commission and Vulnerable Adults Population Commission.
