Congratulations on your acceptance to Delaware Law!
When it comes to choosing a law school, we know it takes more than a day to find the right fit. We also know how important it is that you have the flexibility and tools you need to shape and launch your legal career. That’s why we created several accepted applicant events, with a mix of virtual and in-person experiences, that connect you with Delaware Law faculty, staff, and students, and opportunities to visit law school classes and tour campus. Our accepted applicant events have everything you need to get to know Delaware Law.

Admitted Student Welcome Reception
Join us on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. for a cocktail reception hosted by Dean Todd Clark. Dean Clark is looking forward to meeting the 2023 entering class and welcoming you to Delaware Law.
This event will allow you to meet faculty and connect with your classmates in a fun and relaxed environment. Take this opportunity to make friends and connections before the fall semester starts! The event will take place in Barrister’s Club on campus. Business casual attire suggested.

Associate Dean for Student Academic Affairs Alice Eakin and current Delaware Law students provide keen insights into what to expect as a law student and how to make the most of your law school experience, followed by Q&A.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Delaware Law
Director of Recruitment and Diversity Enrollment Initiatives Eric Kniskern is joined by Assistant Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Joseph Farris and student affinity group leaders to discuss the social, leadership, and networking opportunities that exist for law students from underrepresented groups, followed by Q&A.
Practical Learning at Delaware Law
Director of Experiential Education and the Judicial Externship Program and Professor Francis Catania and Professors Dana Harrington Conner and Catherine Zwolak Killian introduce practical learning opportunities at Delaware Law, including externships, law clinics, and experiential courses, followed by insights from current students and Q&A.
Financing Your Legal Education
Director of Financial Aid Eleanor Kelly provides guidance on how to achieve your goal of attending Delaware Law, followed by Q&A. If you prefer to talk one-on-one with the member of the Financial Aid Office, please reach out to DelawareLawFinAid@widener.edu to set up an individual appointment.

Accepted Applicant Campus Tours
One of the best ways for accepted students to get to know Delaware Law is to visit our diverse, inclusive, and welcoming campus. Join us for a student-guided tour of our 34-acre, suburban campus and picture yourself at Delaware Law. Here’s how it works:
- Register for an on-campus tour using our online scheduling. Walk-in visitors are not permitted.
- Check your email for campus tour confirmation and instructions for your visit.
- Email our Director for Admissions Carly Gardner at cagardner@widener.edu with any questions or concerns.
Please schedule your tour at least one day in advance so that we can prepare to welcome you!
Virtual Office Hours
Have questions for the Admissions Office as you prepare for law school? Members of our Admissions Office have virtual office hours on Zoom on Wednesdays from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
