    Honor Societies, Journals, and Organizations

    With a wide range of student organizations and activities at Delaware Law, you can choose how you want to get involved. If you have an interest that is not covered by the organizations below, you are welcome to create a new one.

    Law Reviews

    Legal research and writing are important parts of any successful legal career. You can perfect those skills by working on the prestigious Delaware Journal of Corporate Law and the Widener Law Review.

    Moot Court Honor Society

    Students who demonstrate exceptional oral and written advocacy skills can take part in the Moot Court Honor Society. As a member, you can earn academic credit for a variety of Moot Court activities, including participation in interscholastic competitions, while learning the ins and outs of oral advocacy and brief writing.

    Moe Levine Trial Team

    The Moe Levine Trial Team offers professional training for students who demonstrate the desire and academic prowess to become trial attorneys. Members can participate in training sessions and workshops as well as compete against fellow Widener Law students and represent the School through interscholastic trial competitions.

    The Transactional Law Honor Society

    The Transactional Law Honor Society gives students the chance to hone the practical skills needed for transactional law work. Students have the opportunity to enhance their negotiation skills and learn how to draft and interpret business documents. The Transactional Law Honor Society trains its members through workshops and lectures on the intricacies of business law and practice, and some participants are selected to participate in the regional Transactional LawMeet.
