Honorable G. Fred DiBona Competition

The Annual Judge G. Fred DiBona Intrascholastic Moot Court Competition held during the fall semester is open to all 2RD, 2ED, 3RD, 3ED, and 4ED students who have completed Legal Methods II and have a cumulative G.P.A. of 2.7 or greater, other than those students who have been precluded from Moot Court competitions in the past. The DiBona Competition is scored solely on oral advocacy skills, with no brief writing requirement. Competitors reaching the final round in the competition will be offered Moot Court Honor Society membership as long as all other eligibility requirements for Moot Court are met.

Preliminary Rounds (All competitors assigned to compete during one of the three days)
October 17, 18, and 19, 2022 from 6-8 pm

Round of Sixteen (Top 16 scoring competitors compete)
October 26, 2022 from 6-8 PM

Quarter Final Rounds (Top 8 scoring competitors compete)
November 3, 2022 from 6-8 pm

Semi-Final Rounds (Top 4 scoring competitors compete)
November 7, 2022 from 6-8 pm

Final Round (Top 2 scoring competitors compete – all competitors required to attend)
November 18, 2022 from 6:30-8 pm
