Partnership Programs

Delaware Law partners with the following institutions to offer special admissions options. Applicants who are interested in any of the following programs are encouraged to contact their school’s pre-law advisor for assistance.

Alvernia University Partnership

Delaware Law in partnership with Alvernia University offers two options for Alvernia undergraduates.

3+3 Early Admission Program

Alvernia University undergraduate students may earn both a bachelor’s degree and a juris doctor degree in six years, instead of the usual seven provided they:

Complete all major and core course requirements at Alvernia and complete 75% of their bachelor degree’s requirements before enrolling in courses at Delaware Law.
Earn a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher through six semesters of undergraduate studies at Alvernia.
Achieve an LSAT score that meets or exceeds the median LSAT score of the current Delaware Law first year entering class.
Satisfy all law school admissions requirements relating to character and fitness.
Submit a completed application to Delaware Law no later than April 1st of the calendar year in which the student plans to begin legal study.

Students admitted to Delaware Law through the 3+3 program must attend on a full time basis until they have completed their bachelor’s degree. At that time, they may elect to continue their legal studies on either a full or part time basis.

At the completion of their first year of law school, the student will request an official transcript be sent to Alvernia. Alvernia will award the bachelor’s degree to students who have successfully completed the first year of law school and completed all major and core requirements at Alvernia.

Express or Guaranteed Admission Program (EGAP)

Students will be admitted to Delaware Law if they:

Complete all Alvernia degree requirements at Alvernia before enrolling in courses at Delaware Law.
Earn a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher through time of law school application review.
Achieve an LSAT score that meets or exceeds the median LSAT score of the current Delaware Law first year entering class.
Satisfy all law school admissions requirements relating to character and fitness.
Submit a completed application to Delaware Law no later than April 1st of the calendar year in which the student plans to begin legal study.

Merit Scholarship Award

For the fall 2023 entering class, Delaware Law will offer a minimum $34,000 merit scholarship to all Alvernia students who are admitted through the 3+3 or Express Admission Program and attend on a full time basis. This award will be renewable provided the student maintains good academic standing at Delaware Law. The award will be subject to any remaining terms and conditions imposed by Delaware Law and will be further outlined at time of acceptance.

All financial aid applications will be handled directly between the student and Delaware Law. Delaware Law will consider Alvernia students for any need-based financial aid for which they would be normally considered.

Delaware State University Partnership

Delaware Law offers an Advanced Admission Program to students and graduates from Delaware State University (DSU).

Advanced Admission Program (AAP)

Students will be admitted to Delaware Law if they:

Complete all DSU degree requirements at DSU before enrolling in courses at Delaware Law
Earn a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher through time of law school application review.
Achieve an LSAT score that meets or exceeds the median LSAT score of the current Delaware Law first year entering class.
Satisfy all law school admissions requirements relating to character and fitness.
Submit a completed application to Delaware Law no later than April 1 of the calendar year in which they plan to begin law school.

Merit Scholarship Award

For the fall 2023 entering class, Delaware Law will offer a minimum $34,000 merit scholarship to all DSU students who are admitted through the Advanced Admission Program and attend on a full time basis. This award will be renewable provided the student maintains good academic standing at Delaware Law. The award will be subject to any remaining terms and conditions imposed by Delaware Law and will be further outlined at time of acceptance.

Elizabethtown College Partnership

Early Admission Program (EAP)

Delaware Law offers students from Elizabethtown College the ability to apply to Delaware Law through the Early Admission Program (EAP). Students will be admitted to Delaware Law if they:

Complete all major and core course requirements at Elizabethtown College and attain senior status (96 or more credits) before enrolling in courses at Delaware Law.
Earn a cumulative undergraduate GPA that ranks in the top 50th percentile of the class (as calculated by the Law School Admission Council’s Credential Assembly Service).
Meet the character and fitness requirements of Delaware Law School.
Comply with all application, seat deposit, and other deadlines established by Delaware Law.
Take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) no later than December of the third year of their undergraduate studies program (for 3+3 students) or December of their fourth year of their undergraduate studies program (for 4+3 students).
Achieve an LSAT score that meets or exceeds the median LSAT score of the current Delaware Law first year entering class.

EAP students must apply no later than April 1 of the calendar year in which they plan to begin study at Delaware Law School, and they must matriculate in the regular division for their first year.

Merit Scholarship Award

For the fall 2023 entering class, Delaware Law will offer a minimum $34,000 merit scholarship to all Elizabethtown students who are admitted through the Early Admission Program and attend on a full time basis. This award will be renewable provided the student maintains good academic standing at Delaware Law. All financial aid applications will be handled directly between the student and Delaware Law. Delaware Law will consider Elizabethtown students for any need-based financial aid for which they would be normally considered.

Goldey-Beacom College Partnership

Delaware Law in partnership with Goldey-Beacom College offers two options for Goldey-Beacom undergraduates.

3+3 Early Admission Program

Goldey-Beacom College undergraduate students may earn both a bachelor’s degree and a juris doctor degree in six years, instead of the usual seven provided they:

Complete all major and core course requirements at Goldey-Beacom and complete 75% of their bachelor degree’s requirements before enrolling in courses at Delaware Law.
Earn a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher through six semesters of undergraduate studies at Goldey-Beacom.
Achieve an LSAT score that meets or exceeds the median LSAT score of the current Delaware Law first year entering class.
Satisfy all law school admissions requirements relating to character and fitness.
Submit a completed application to Delaware Law no later than April 1st of the calendar year in which the student plans to begin legal study.

Complete 75% of their bachelor degree’s requirements before enrolling in courses at Delaware Law
Earn a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher through six semesters of undergraduate studies at Immaculata.
Achieve an LSAT score that meets or exceeds the median LSAT score of the current Delaware Law first year entering class.
Satisfy all law school admissions requirements relating to character and fitness.
Submit a completed application to Delaware Law no later than April 1st of the calendar year in which the student plans to begin legal study.

To complete their Immaculata degree – Immaculata University may apply the course credits earned at Delaware Law towards the requirements of their undergraduate degree at Immaculata.

Guaranteed Admission Program

Guaranteed admission students will be admitted to Delaware Law if they:

Complete all Immaculata degree requirements at Immaculata University before enrolling in courses at Delaware Law.
Earn a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher through time of law school application review.
Achieve an LSAT score that meets or exceeds the median LSAT score of the current Delaware Law first year entering class.
Satisfy all law school admissions requirements relating to character and fitness.
Submit a completed application to Delaware Law no later than April 1st of the calendar year in which the student plans to begin legal study.

Merit Scholarship Award

Manor College Partnership

Delaware Law in partnership with Manor College offers two options for Manor undergraduates.

3+3 Early Admission Program:

Manor College undergraduate students may earn both a bachelor’s degree and a juris doctor degree in six years, instead of the usual seven provided they:

Complete 75% of their bachelor degree’s requirements before enrolling in courses at Delaware Law.
Earn a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher every semester at Manor College.
Achieve an LSAT score that meets or exceeds the median LSAT score of the current Delaware Law first year entering class.
Satisfy all law school admissions requirements relating to character and fitness.
Submit a completed application to Delaware Law no later than April 1st of the calendar year in which the student plans to begin legal study.

Students in the 3+3 Early Admission Program will have Delaware Law send an official transcript to Manor College at the completion of their first year of law school. Manor College will award the bachelor’s degree to students who have successfully completed the first year of law school and completed all major and core requirements at Manor College. Students who complete the bachelor’s degree are required to participate in Manor’s graduation.

Guaranteed Admission Program:

Students will be admitted to Delaware Law if they:

Complete all Manor College degree requirements at Manor College before enrolling in courses at Delaware Law.
Earn a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher through time of law school application review.
Achieve an LSAT score that meets or exceeds the median LSAT score of the current Delaware Law first year entering class.
Satisfy all law school admissions requirements relating to character and fitness.
Submit a completed application to Delaware Law no later than April 1st of the calendar year in which the student plans to begin legal study.

Delaware Law School offers two special admissions programs for Moravian undergraduate students.

3+3 Early Admission Program

Moravian University undergraduate students may earn both a bachelor’s degree and a juris doctor degree in six years, instead of the usual seven, provided they:

Complete all major and core courses requirements at Moravian and complete 75% of their bachelor degree’s requirements before enrolling in courses at Delaware Law.
Earn a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher through six semesters of undergraduate studies at Moravian.
Achieve an LSAT score that meets or exceeds the median LSAT score of the current Delaware Law first year entering class.
Satisfy all law school admissions requirements relating to character and fitness.
Submit a completed application to Delaware Law no later than April 1st of the calendar year in which the student plans to begin legal study.

3+3 students will have Delaware Law send an official transcript to Moravian at the completion of their first year of law school. Moravian will award the bachelor’s degree to students who have successfully completed the first year of law school and completed all major and core requirements at Moravian.

Express or Guaranteed Admission Program

Students will be admitted to Delaware Law if they:

Complete all Moravian degree requirements at Moravian University before enrolling in courses at Delaware Law.
Earn a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher through time of law school application review.
Achieve an LSAT score that meets or exceeds the median LSAT score of the current Delaware Law School first year entering class.
Satisfy all law school admissions requirements relating to character and fitness.
Submit a completed application to Delaware Law School no later than April 1st of the calendar year in which the student plans to begin legal study.

Complete all major and core course requirements at Neumann and complete 75% of their bachelor degree’s requirements before enrolling in courses at Delaware Law.
Earn a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher through six semesters of undergraduate studies at Neumann.
Achieve an LSAT score that meets or exceeds the median LSAT score of the current Delaware Law first year entering class.
Satisfy all law school admissions requirements relating to character and fitness.
Submit a completed application to Delaware Law no later than April 1st of the calendar year in which the student plans to begin legal study.

3+3 students will have Delaware Law send an official transcript to Neumann at the completion of their first year of law school. Neumann will award the bachelor’s degree to students who have successfully completed the first year of law school and completed all major and core requirements at Neumann.

Express or Guaranteed Admission Program (EGAP)

Students will be admitted to Delaware Law if they:

Complete all Neumann degree requirements at Neumann before enrolling in courses at Delaware Law.
Earn a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher through time of law school application review.
Achieve an LSAT score that meets or exceeds the median LSAT score of the current Delaware Law first year entering class.
Satisfy all law school admissions requirements relating to character and fitness.
Submit a completed application to Delaware Law no later than April 1st of the calendar year in which the student plans to begin legal study.

Stockton University Partnership

Delaware Law offers an express admissions program to students and graduates from Stockton University.

Express Admit Program

Students will be admitted to Delaware Law if they:

Submit their application no later than April 1 of the calendar year in which they plan to begin law school.
Earn a cumulative undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher through time of law school application review.
Achieve an LSAT score that meets or exceeds the median LSAT score of the most recent entering class at Delaware Law School.
Satisfy Delaware Law’s admission requirements relating to character and fitness.

Students admitted through the Express Admissions Program have the option of attending Delaware Law either full-or part-time.

Merit Scholarship Award

For the fall 2023 entering class, Delaware Law will offer a minimum $34,000 merit scholarship to all Stockton students who are admitted through the Express Admission Program and attend on a full time basis. This award will be renewable provided the student maintains good academic standing at Delaware Law. The award will be subject to any remaining terms and conditions imposed by Delaware Law and will be further outlined at time of acceptance.

Delaware Law will consider Stockton students for any need-based financial aid for which they would be normally considered.

Rowan University Partnership

Delaware Law School offers two special admissions programs for Rowan undergraduate students.

3+3 Early Admission Program:

Rowan University undergraduate students may earn both a bachelor’s degree and a juris doctor degree in six years, instead of the usual seven, provided they:

Complete all major and core courses requirements at Rowan and complete 75% of their bachelor degree’s requirements before enrolling in courses at Delaware Law.
Earn a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher through six semesters of undergraduate studies at Rowan.
Achieve an LSAT score that meets or exceeds the median LSAT score of the current Delaware Law first year entering class.
Satisfy all law school admissions requirements relating to character and fitness.
Submit a completed application to Delaware Law no later than April 1st of the calendar year in which the student plans to begin legal study.

At the completion of their first year of law school, the student will request an official transcript be sent to Rowan. Rowan will award the bachelor’s degree to students who have successfully completed the first year of law school and completed all major and core requirements at Rowan.

Express or Guaranteed Admission Program

Students will be admitted to Delaware Law if they:

Complete all Rowan degree requirements at Rowan before enrolling in courses at Delaware Law.
Earn a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher through time of law school application review.
Achieve an LSAT score that meets or exceeds the median LSAT score of the current Delaware Law School first year entering class.
Satisfy all law school admissions requirements relating to character and fitness.
Submit a completed application to Delaware Law School no later than April 1st of the calendar year in which the student plans to begin legal study.

Rowan/Delaware Law Externship Opportunity

Delaware Law will act as an externship placement for Rowan students in the following manner:

Rowan students may audit any Delaware Law course agreed upon in advance by both Delaware Law and Rowan.
Delaware Law agrees to maintain attendance records for all Rowan students participating in the externship placement.

West Chester University Partnership

Delaware Law School offers two special admissions programs for West Chester undergraduate students.

3+3 Early Admission Program

West Chester University undergraduate students may earn both a bachelor’s degree and a juris doctor degree in six years, instead of the usual seven provided they:

Complete all major and core courses requirements at West Chester and complete 75% of their bachelor degree’s requirements before enrolling in courses at Delaware Law.
Earn a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher at West Chester.
Achieve an LSAT score that meets or exceeds the median LSAT score of the current Delaware Law first year entering class.
Satisfy all law school admissions requirements relating to character and fitness.
Submit a completed application to Delaware Law no later than April 1st of the calendar year in which the student plans to begin legal study.

Students in the 3+3 Early Admissions Program may apply the course credits earned at Delaware Law towards the requirements of their undergraduate degree at West Chester. In order to do so, students must complete the West Chester transfer credit permission form prior to enrolling at Delaware Law, then provide Delaware Law transcripts to West Chester at the end of each semester.

Students must meet the West Chester Resident Student Policy. To qualify for graduation, a student must take at least 30% of his/her last 60 credits at West Chester University. In addition, a student must take at least 50% of the courses in his/her major or minor discipline (excluding cognate courses) at West Chester University. For active-duty service members, the academic residency requirements will not apply. The student must then provide Delaware Law with an official copy of their West Chester transcript showing the completion of their bachelor’s degree.

Guaranteed Admission Program

Students will be admitted to Delaware Law if they:

Complete all West Chester degree requirements at West Chester University before enrolling in courses at Delaware Law.
Earn a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher through time of law school application review.
Achieve an LSAT score that meets or exceeds the median LSAT score of the current Delaware Law first year entering class.
Satisfy all law school admissions requirements relating to character and fitness.
Submit a completed application to Delaware Law no later than April 1st of the calendar year in which the student plans to begin legal study.

Merit Scholarship Award

For the fall 2023 entering class, Delaware Law will offer a minimum $34,000 merit scholarship to all West Chester students who are admitted through the 3+3 or Guaranteed Admission Program and attend on a full time basis. Widener University Partnership

Delaware Law in partnership with Widener University offers three pathways to Delaware Law School for Widener University undergraduates.

Widener Legal Scholars Program

Under the Widener Legal Scholars Program, Widener undergraduate students in any major qualify for admission to Delaware Law without having to take the LSAT provided they:

Submit a completed law school application to Delaware Law.
Score at, or above the 85th percentile on the SAT or ACT and have not taken the LSAT (Applicants who have taken the LSAT are not eligible for consideration under this program).
Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, or have a GPA in the top 10 percent of their class, through six semesters of study.
Satisfy all Delaware Law admissions requirements relating to character and fitness.
Students admitted to Delaware Law under this program for the 2023-2024 academic year qualify for an annual scholarship in the amount of $37,000, renewable for each succeeding year of full-time law school study, for a total scholarship award of $111,000.

3 + 3 Early Admission Program

Widener University undergraduate students may earn both a bachelor's degree and a juris doctor degree in six years, instead of the usual seven years, provided they:

Major in a discipline that allows for them to complete all of the required courses in three years (Some examples include, political science, history, English, psychology, and criminal justice, however other majors may be eligible with sufficient advising and early planning).
Apply to the Widener University pre-law advising committee after their first year of undergraduate study (to insure appropriate advising).
Receive a minimum grade of B in their undergraduate English 101 class.
Complete 75% of their bachelor degree's requirements in three years.
Rank in the top 50th percentile of their class and/or attain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher in their undergraduate studies.
Achieve an LSAT score that meets or exceeds the median LSAT score of the most recent entering class at Delaware Law.
Satisfy all Delaware Law admissions requirements relating to character and fitness.
Submit a completed application to Delaware Law by April 1 of the calendar year in which they plan to begin law school.

Students attend Delaware Law in their fourth (senior year undergraduate year), and these courses fulfill the students' remaining free electives to earn the bachelor’s degree. Students must attend Delaware Law on a full-time basis until they have completed their bachelor’s degree. At that time, they may elect to continue their legal studies on either a full- or part-time basis. Undergraduate GPA will be determined solely by the grades earned as an undergraduate student at Widener University. Widener University students are eligible to participate in team sports while enrolled in their first three undergraduate years, but not as graduate law students.

Express Admission Program

Express Admission students will be admitted to Delaware Law if they:

Submit a completed law school application by April 1 of the calendar year in which they plan to begin law school.
Rank in top 50 percent of their class and/or attain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher in their undergraduate studies.
Achieve an LSAT score that meets or exceeds the median LSAT score of the most recent entering class at Delaware Law.
Satisfy all Delaware Law admissions requirements relating to character and fitness.

Merit Scholarship Award

Delaware Law offers an express admissions program to students and graduates from Wilmington University.

Express or Guaranteed Admission Program

Students will be admitted to Delaware Law if they:

Complete all Wilmington University degree requirements at Wilmington University before enrolling in courses at Delaware Law.
Earn a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.5 or higher through time of law school application review.
Achieve an LSAT score that meets or exceeds the median LSAT score of the most recent entering class at Delaware Law School.
Satisfy Delaware Law’s admission requirements relating to character and fitness.
Submit a completed application to Delaware Law no later than April 1 of the calendar year in which they plan to begin law school.

Students admitted through the Express or Guaranteed Admission Program have the option of attending Delaware Law either full- or part-time.
